Jornada Gastronòmica del Bacallà: tradition and maritime flavor

Last weekend, the Club became the setting for a true gastronomic celebration dedicated to one of the most emblematic ingredients of our cuisine: cod. The gathering brought together 34 people, including members and friends of the club, who wanted to enjoy a culinary experience full of tradition and flavor.

A menu dedicated to cod

The gastronomic proposal revolved around cod, a product deeply rooted in Mediterranean culinary tradition, presented in different preparations that allowed guests to appreciate its versatility and flavor.

The lunch began with a cod salad with anchovies and black olive vinaigrette, a fresh and balanced combination that opened the meal with a maritime touch. This was followed by cod fritters, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, which were very well received by the attendees. The next dish was a creamy and delicate cod brandade, highlighting the characteristic texture and taste of this product. As the main course, cod confit ajoarriero style was served, a traditional Navarrese recipe full of flavor that completed the menu with a rich and intense preparation. To finish, dessert was a tiramisu, providing the final sweet touch to a lunch designed to be enjoyed without rushing.

A day to share

Throughout the lunch, the Club’s restaurant was filled with conversations, reunions, and shared moments around the table. These gastronomic events continue to establish themselves as one of the most appreciated activities among members, as they combine gastronomy and camaraderie with the privileged setting of the port.
