On the weekend of 26th and 27th October, the Europas team of the Club Nàutic Estartit started the season at the 33rd Vilà Palamós, the inaugural regatta of the Catalan circuit of the season. The complicated conditions on Saturday, with no wind, prevented the races from taking place. Sunday brought a significant improvement with a northerly wind that, turning towards the east, reached an intensity of 10-12 knots. These conditions made it possible to complete four races, where the Estartit sailors stood out in several podiums.
Among the 26 participants, the results of the Club Nàutic Estartit team were very promising, marking a strong start to the season:
- Matteo Galindo obtained an impressive third position.
- Isaac Vilà took fifth place, remaining among the best of the fleet.
- Sara Ayats stood out with ninth place, placing her as the first female.
- Anna Pla took 17th place and was the first U18 female and third female.
- Aina Artalejo and Emma Corbera completed the team’s representation with 24th and 26th positions, respectively.

These results reinforce the confidence of the Europas team and mark a very positive start to the season. With the motivation high, the sailors of Club Nàutic Estartit continue with the preparation for the next competitions, with the aim of continuing to improve and stay at the top of the rankings.
