CNE Nautical School

Would you like to get started in the world of boating or take the next step in your training as a skipper? At the Club Nàutic Estartit Nautical School, we make it easy for you to obtain the nautical qualification that best suits your needs.

The Club, together with Escola Nàutica Baix Empordà, works in collaboration to offer officially approved courses at different levels, designed both for beginners and for sailors who wish to expand their qualifications.

The courses take place in L’Estartit, at the Club’s Activity Centre, in a privileged setting on the Costa Brava facing the Medes Islands, an ideal environment to learn and enjoy sailing.

Which nautical qualification do you need?

Depending on the type of boat, the sailing distance and the experience you want to gain, you can choose from different qualifications:

It also allows you to operate Class C jet skis. The minimum age to obtain it is 16, with the corresponding parental consent.

Basic Navigation Skipper — PNB

The Basic Navigation Skipper qualification is a great option for those who want to broaden their boating possibilities.

This qualification allows you to operate boats up to 8 metres in length, with suitable engine power, and sail up to 5 nautical miles from a port, marina or sheltered location. It also includes the operation of Class C jet skis. The minimum age is 16, with parental consent.

Recreational Boat Skipper — PER
