Representatives from L’Estartit and the President of Our Club attend the Night of Tourism

The first edition of the Night of Tourism of the Baix Empordà brought together institutional representatives, organizations, and tourism sector agents from across the region. L’Estartit was represented by a prominent delegation, including the president of our Club, Mr. Jordi Ponjoan del Molino, demonstrating the municipality’s commitment to the development and promotion of tourism in the area.

An event dedicated to recognition and social contribution

The main goal of this gathering was to honor individuals, projects, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the tourism sector in the Baix Empordà. Awards were given to highlight the work accomplished over recent years and to recognize the key role of those driving initiatives that strengthen the quality and appeal of the region.

Additionally, the event included a charitable component with a contribution to a local association, a gesture that reinforces the connection between tourism promotion and support for social projects in the comarca.

Institutional presence and l’Estartit representation

Mr. Jordi Colomí Massanas, Mayor of Torroella de Montgrí/L’Estartit, attended alongside Ms. Dúnia Oliveras Bagué, Councillor for Economic Promotion, Tourism, Commerce, and Fairs; Ms. Imma Ballbé Mallol, Tourism and Local Development Consultant; Ms. Lídia Alonso Collado, Head of the Promotion and Tourism Unit; and Mr. Joan Ferrer, President of the Nautical Station.

Their presence, along with that of our Club’s president, strengthens the municipality’s social and institutional fabric and symbolizes institutional support for initiatives that enhance the tourism quality of the Baix Empordà.

Events like this foster connections between organizations, institutions, and tourism sector agents, promoting collaboration and the development of projects that benefit the entire community. They also help increase the visibility of the municipality, highlighting its activities, resources, and the commitment of local stakeholders to the growth and cohesion of the territory.
