The sailing teams of Club Nàutic Estartit participated this past weekend in the Regata XXXIV Vila de Palamós – Trofeu Baix Empordà, organized by CN Costa Brava – Vela Palamós. This event, which brings together young sailors from different clubs in the region, is a great opportunity to continue gaining experience and growing within the world of competitive sailing.
Variable conditions and learning on the water
On the first day, three races were able to take place with a northeast wind of 6 to 8 knots, allowing for a day of technical and demanding sailing. In contrast, on the second day, the wind was unstable and variable in direction, which prevented any further races from being completed, so the final ranking was decided based on the races of the first day.
Results of our sailors
The representatives of Club Nàutic Estartit competed with consistency and a positive attitude, demonstrating their commitment and the work they put in week after week during training.

At Club Nàutic Estartit, we see sailing as a training tool that goes far beyond competition. This sport teaches values such as responsibility, teamwork, autonomy, and respect for the sea—essential elements in the personal and athletic development of young people. Participating in regattas like the one in Palamós is a way to put everything learned into practice and to share experiences with other clubs, fostering a sense of community within the sailing world. From Club Nàutic Estartit, we congratulate all our sailors for their participation and effort, as well as the coach for his constant support. We continue working to grow grassroots sailing and to pass on a passion for the sea to new generations of sailors.
