On May 15 and 16, 2025, Club Nàutic Estartit had the honor of participating in the XXI Technical Conferences of the ACPET (Associació Catalana de Ports Esportius i Turístics), a key meeting point for the entire Catalan port sector. Held at the Port de Sitges-Aiguadolç, these conferences provided a crucial space to promote innovation, debate, sustainability, and collaboration among ports.

A key event for the future of catalan ports
These technical conferences are much more than a simple annual gathering. They represent the driving force of progress within the field of port management and play a fundamental role in defining the 21st-century port model. More than 200 industry professionals came together to analyze, share, and propose solutions to the main environmental, technological, and social challenges faced by Catalan ports.

Trending topics that set the tone
Over two days filled with knowledge exchange and shared experiences, key issues were addressed, including:
- Applications of artificial intelligence in the management of marinas
- Environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation from a port perspective
- Pioneering initiatives such as the Econàutic project or the marine habitat map of Catalunya
- Recreational boating and blue tourism: synergies with the local economy and environmental protection
- Relationships between ports, public administration, and territorial governance

At Club Nàutic Estartit, we believe that the future is built today—and to do so, it is essential to be present in these spaces of learning and collaboration. Taking part in the ACPET Technical Conferences allows us to:
- Stay up to date with trends and innovations: As a marina committed to intelligent and sustainable management, we must stay informed about the latest technologies, regulations, and best practices applicable to our environment.
- Exchange knowledge with other Catalan ports: These conferences provide us with a platform for networking and collaboration with other marinas and tourist ports across Catalunya. This helps us share projects, solve common challenges, and generate new ideas together.
- Contribute our territorial vision and experience: As a port located within the Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter, we bring a valuable perspective on the interaction between recreational boating and environmental conservation. Defending local interests also means advocating for a sustainable and balanced model.
- Strengthen our commitment to sustainability: This event reinforces our goal to remain a benchmark for sustainability and innovation in the port sector. Concrete actions—such as process digitalization or marine ecosystem management—are essential to ensure a resilient and green future.
Thanks to everyone who makes it possible

From Club Nàutic Estartit, we would like to express our gratitude to:
- ACPET, for organizing such enriching conferences
- Ports de la Generalitat, for their ongoing support in the development of ports
