On the first Saturday of the month, August 3rd, the Club Nàutic Estartit celebrated the Nit del Club 2024, an event that has become a tradition eagerly awaited by all club members. The night was marked by a festive and welcoming atmosphere, where attendees enjoyed an evening full of good food, good music, and excellent service.
The night began with a warm welcome on the club’s terrace, where guests were greeted with a glass of cava. This opening, with the the Medes Islands in the background, marked the beginning of an evening that promised to be memorable, and it did not disappoint. The terrace, decorated with small colored lights, provided a perfect setting for club members to relax and socialize before dinner.
The exquisite menu of the Nit del Club
The menu for the Nit del Club, carefully selected and prepared by Joaquim Silva and his team, was a true gastronomic delight. The starters showcased local cuisine. They included Iberian ham, with a shiny appearance and smooth fat and an intense aroma; steamed mussels, bringing freshness and a delicate touch of the sea; homemade croquettes, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside; and a smoked sardine salad. Each dish was meticulously presented and highlighted the quality of each ingredient.
The main course was a seafood fideuà, a classic of mediterranean cuisine that is always met with great enthusiasm. Cooked to perfection, it combined short noodles with a rich variety of fresh seafood, all seasoned with a flavorful broth that enhanced the tastes of the sea.
To end the evening with a sweet and refreshing touch, a red fruit sorbet was served, light and full of flavor. This dessert, with summer colors and a combination of sweet and acidic flavors, was the perfect conclusion to the night’s gastronomic experience.
More than just a dinner
The dinner was accompanied by a selection of local wines carefully chosen to complement each dish. The combination of good cuisine, excellent wine, and the company of friends and colleagues made the “Nit del Club 2024” a resounding success.
Additionally, after dinner, the night continued with music and dancing and went on until late. Club members had the opportunity to enjoy an evening full of laughter and good times.
Thanks to the excellent organization, the quality of the menu, and the good company, this night was an unforgettable experience for all attendees. Without a doubt, social activities like these strengthen the bonds of the Club Nàutic Estartit, and we are already looking forward to the next edition!
