On 21 February, Club N\u00e0utic Estartit instructors Guillem Gurrea, Aina Artalejo and Aran Gonzalez<\/strong> took part in a training session at the Barcelona International Sailing Center (BISC)<\/a>, focused on the Lliga Blava<\/strong> project and on improving grassroots sailing teaching methodology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the session, the coaches gained in-depth insight into the Lliga Blava project, an initiative aimed at promoting development-focused competition and the sporting growth of young sailors within a structured and educational framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training also included a specific module dedicated to the RS Feva class<\/strong>, the boat chosen by the Catalan Sailing Federation and the Barcelona Capital N\u00e0utica Foundation to launch this project. The instructors received practical advice and teaching resources<\/strong> to support children\u2019s learning, with the aim of improving their autonomy and technical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the key features of the boat were explained, with particular focus on sail trim, gennaker handling and crew coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day concluded with an on-water practical session<\/strong>, where the instructors were able to apply the concepts covered during the training and experience first-hand the technical aspects discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this initiative, Club reaffirms its commitment to the continuous training of its technical team and to the ongoing improvement of the quality of sailing education<\/strong> for young sailors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
