On the weekend of 27 and 28 June<\/strong>, Club N\u00e0utic Estartit will once again host one of the most emblematic events of the summer sports calendar with the 55th Illes Medes \u2013 l\u2019Estartit Travessia. A historic race that brings together hundreds of swimmers ready to take on a unique challenge in open water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than half a century of history, the Swim has become one of the most traditional open water events on the Costa Brava<\/strong>, combining sport, nature and personal achievement in the incomparable setting of the Montgr\u00ed, Illes Medes and Baix Ter Natural Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two distances for all levels<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event offers two race distances so each participant can choose the challenge that best suits their level:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Brava 3.5K<\/strong>: the main event, featuring a spectacular course around the Illes Medes that tests swimmers\u2019 endurance and technique in a privileged natural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Cl\u00e0ssica 2K<\/strong>: designed for swimmers who are new to open water or who prefer a more accessible distance, this race offers an iconic experience suitable for all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both races are supported by a comprehensive safety system and escort boats to ensure the smooth running of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
