Club N\u00e0utic Estartit<\/strong> was once again present at Boot D\u00fcsseldorf 2026<\/a><\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s most important indoor boat shows. This international event, which brings together more than 1,500 exhibitors and around 200,000 visitors<\/strong>, gathers each year the main players in the European and global nautical sector and serves as a key platform for promotion, discussion and knowledge exchange within recreational and sports boating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Club took part as part of the presence of the Catalan marinas<\/strong>, coordinated by the Associaci\u00f3 Catalana de Ports Esportius i Tur\u00edstics (ACPET)<\/a><\/strong>, with the attendance of the Director of Club N\u00e0utic Estartit, Eugeni Figa i Deu<\/strong>, who represented the Club at the various institutional and sector meetings held during the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Institutional meetings and the German market<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For several years now, the public company Ports de la Generalitat<\/strong> has been working with ACPET to promote the marinas under its management. This year, the Director General of Ports, Ms Esther Roca, the Southern Area Regional Director, Mr Enric Mart\u00ednez, and the Head of Commercial Promotion, Ms Sara Valls, travelled to Germany to accompany the Catalan marinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the show, ACPET organised a meeting with the Director General of Ports of the Government of Catalonia, Ms Esther Roca, and representatives of the ADAC<\/a><\/strong> (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club). It is worth noting that ADAC is Germany\u2019s automobile association, with 20 million members, of whom it is estimated that nearly 1 million are boating users<\/strong>. The meeting focused on promoting Catalan marinas in the German market<\/strong>, a public with a long-standing nautical tradition and a well-established interest in Mediterranean sailing. In this context, lines of work were shared to strengthen the visibility of<\/strong> Catalonia as a nautical destination<\/strong>, highlighting the quality of port facilities and associated services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was also an opportunity to discuss with the Ports de la Generalitat team other issues affecting Catalan marinas as a whole, related to port management and the future challenges facing the sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ECOnautic project presented at Boot D\u00fcsseldorf 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday 20 January, a new presentation of the ECOnautic project<\/a><\/strong> took place, an initiative promoted by ACPET<\/strong> with the participation of its associated marinas, including Club N\u00e0utic Estartit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, the German translation of the Sustainable Recreational Boating Guide<\/strong> was presented. This document brings together a set of good practices aimed at promoting more environmentally responsible boating<\/strong>, both within the marina and at sea. The guide focuses on aspects such as responsible resource consumption, proper waste management, responsible anchoring and respect for protected natural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presenting this guide at an international event such as Boot D\u00fcsseldorf helps to give visibility to sustainability-related initiatives<\/strong> and to share them with boaters and professionals from other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in Boot D\u00fcsseldorf 2026 continues the line of work developed by Club N\u00e0utic Estartit <\/a><\/strong>at an international level, strengthening institutional contacts, sharing projects and maintaining an active presence at leading events within the European nautical sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This presence is aligned with the Club\u2019s commitment to high-quality, responsible boating connected to the main international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
