The sailing teams of Club N\u00e0utic Estartit participated this past weekend in the<\/strong> Regata XXXIV Vila de Palam\u00f3s – Trofeu Baix Empord\u00e0<\/a>, organized by CN Costa Brava – Vela Palam\u00f3s. <\/strong>This event, which brings together young sailors from different clubs in the region, is a great opportunity to continue gaining experience and growing within the world of competitive sailing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variable conditions and learning on the water<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

On the first day, <\/strong>three races were able to take place with a northeast wind of 6 to 8 knots, <\/strong>allowing for a day of technical and demanding sailing. In contrast, on the second day, the wind was unstable and variable in direction, which prevented any further races from being completed, <\/strong>so the final ranking was decided based on the races of the first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The representatives of Club N\u00e0utic Estartit competed with consistency and a positive attitude, demonstrating their commitment and the work they put in week after week during training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the guidance of coach Jan Mas, all four sailors approached the races with sportsmanship and a desire to improve with every maneuver.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Club N\u00e0utic Estartit, we see sailing as a training tool that goes far beyond competition.<\/strong> This sport teaches values such as responsibility, teamwork, autonomy, and respect for the sea<\/strong>\u2014essential elements in the personal and athletic development of young people. Participating in regattas like the one in Palam\u00f3s is a way to put everything learned into practice and to share experiences with other clubs, fostering a sense of community within the sailing world.
