French sailor Charlie Dalin has made sailing history by winning the Vend\u00e9e Globe 2024<\/a>. After 80 days, 3 hours, 45 minutes and 12 seconds of solo sailing around the world, Dalin crossed the finish line in Les Sables d’Olonne as the winner of this edition of the most demanding race on the planet. This achievement not only confirms his talent and determination, but also sets a new record in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With an impeccable strategy and a great ability to adapt to extreme weather conditions, Dalin has managed to prevail over other great rivals. The 2024 edition of the Vend\u00e9e Globe has also highlighted the increasingly significant role of women in this ultra-endurance race. Justine Mettraux and Clarisse Cr\u00e9mer were two of the sailors who made their mark on this edition with their talent and perseverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justine Mettraux finished the race as the first woman in the rankings, proving that women have a fundamental role to play in offshore sailing. For Mettraux, her success is not only a personal achievement, but also a symbol of progress and inclusion in the world of competitive sailing. \u2018There is no difference in the way men and women sail.
