The EMAS Club is an association of EMAS-certified companies and organisations, a European recognition that guarantees high-quality environmental management. To obtain this certification, Club N\u00e0utic Estartit undertakes every year to follow the best environmental practices and to continually improve in reducing its impact on the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new project, which has been developed throughout 2024, is based on the gamification of environmental training. In other words, thanks to an innovative platform, our club staff will be able to access environmental training via a video game with competition between teams. It&#8217;s an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of environmental management, make suggestions and share good practice in their daily lives to take care of the planet, both at work and at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various visual, audio and video aids, such as this one, help them:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"El mar comen\u00e7a aqu\u00ed\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SF2vfWaTL_k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>What&#8217;s more, this training will not only benefit the personal and professional development of club staff, but will also have a direct impact on club users. As a reference port in the Montgr\u00ed, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park, it is essential that our staff are trained to pass on information to users about good environmental practice when they are out at sea. In this way, we indirectly reinforce our efforts to preserve our natural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Digitalisation and innovation are the other pillars of this project. Using digital tools for training saves time. What&#8217;s more, it&#8217;s an original training resource that allows workers to log on whenever they want and learn at their own pace, without interrupting their working day.
