On July 16, the Club N\u00e0utic Estartit hosted the traditional procession of the Verge del Carme, an event that filled the streets of Estartit with joy, devotion, and color. At 6:30 PM, the festivities began with a ceremony in front of the Church of Santa Anna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The priest, leading the procession, initiated the event, followed by musicians who, with their melodies, created a festive and emotional atmosphere. The sailors, with great honor and respect, carried the image of the Verge del Carme, parading down Santa Anna Street. The procession captured the attention of both tourists and local residents, who came out to witness the beauty of the event and participate in the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The streets were filled with cameras and mobile phones. Everyone wanted to immortalize the moment. From the church to the guild, the procession calmly advanced until it reached the port. There, the image of our patroness was carefully boarded onto a boat decorated with flowers and colorful flags for the occasion. Then, many boats joined in following the boat carrying the image of our patroness, circling the Medes Islands, accompanied by the gentle breeze of the summer evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
